About Us

About Mixbrow Building Services In an ever -changing market it is reassuring to know that Mixbrow Construction has seen steady growth, since its formation in 1973, and still retains the benefits of being a family run firm. Over this period the company has formed close links with a variety of different Clients based on providing a competitive price and quality service.

Situated on the Lion Barn Industrial Estate, in Needham Market, Mixbrow Construction provides a nationwide service, carrying out projects as far away as Scotland and Devon, as well as working extensively in East Anglia and surrounding Counties. We have developed an approved list of national suppliers and sub contractors in order that we remain competitive without lowering our high standards.

Our directly employed staff are all experienced and well trained, enabling them to work on a wide range of construction projects and also to adapt to a Client's requirements during the course of the project.

With the constant updating and introduction of new rules, regulations and working practices, we benefit from an excellent working relationship with various professional bodies and Local Authority personnel, not only in our region but nationally. Membership of "Construction Line", "National House Building Council" and the "Federation of Builders", provides up to date resources to compliment our management and ensures a high level of service.

Management Approach

We endeavour to cultivate close and trusting relationships with all members of the project team, and recognise that goals are achieved through the mutual responsibility of all parties within each Contract. We aim to be pro-active rather than reactive, offering advice and assistance at an early stage. We continually update the training requirements of our employees and operate a "line of command" system to ensure efficient practices and communication. Each project is given individual consideration with regard to the Client's interests and objectives; commitment to budget and programme, careful co-ordination and control, safety, value for money and quality of service and product.

Health & Safety

We are committed to the health and welfare of our personnel as well as any third parties during the course of our works. Our exemplary health and safety record stems from our understanding of the risks involved in our industry and measures taken to safeguard all parties on site. Employing a full time, fully qualified, Health and Safety Co-ordinator we are able to ensure that all works have the correct consideration given to them, comply with necessary regulation and industry recommendations and are monitored to provide the correct controls.

As a comprehensive policy, we ensure that all employees are made aware that they have a duty to themselves, their fellow workers and third parties to exercise good judgement in preventing accidents and avoiding hazards to health. Each individual has a duty to make proper use of protective clothing and equipment provided to comply with all health and safety instructions and recommendations.

Mixbrow Construction Safety Policy
